The Indian Navy SSR/MR Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) – Stage I is scheduled for 13–15 May 2026. Difference Between SSR and MR

  • SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit): For 12th pass candidates. Works in branches like Engine Room Artificer, Electrical, Weaponry, etc.
  • MR (Matric Recruit): For 10th pass candidates. Works in areas like Steward, Chef, Hygienist

INET Exam Pattern — SSR

  • Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted per wrong answer

INET Exam Pattern — MR

Selection Process After INET Stage I

Candidates clearing INET Stage I proceed to: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) → Medical Examination → Document Verification. Provisional merit list is declared after all stages. Final appointment is subject to medical fitness and document verification.
