National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Advance Exam City Details for CUET UG 2026. Candidates can now check their assigned exam city for the Common University Entrance Test. The examination is scheduled from 11 to 31 May 2026.
What Is CUET UG?
CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is the centralized entrance test for admission to undergraduate programs in 45+ central universities across India, including University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Hyderabad University, and many more. Class 12 marks are not the primary admission criterion — CUET score decides admission.

About the Exam Format
CUET UG is conducted in computer-based mode (CBT). Each paper consists of 40–50 MCQs, with 40 questions to be attempted. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer, and +5 for correct. Domain-specific papers must match the stream and subjects the candidate has opted for. A Language paper is compulsory for all candidates.
Participating Universities
Over 45 central universities and many state universities participate. Top central universities include: DU (Delhi University), JNU, BHU (Banaras Hindu University), AMU (Aligarh Muslim University), HCU (Hyderabad Central University), EFLU (Hyderabad), Pondicherry University, Manipur University, NE Hill University (NEHU), and others.
After the Exam City Slip
The Advance City Slip only confirms your city — not the exact centre address. The full Admit Card with your examination centre, room number, and reporting time will be released by NTA a few days before your exam date. Monitor cuet.nta.nic.in regularly.
