NTA NTET 2026 – Exam City Intimation Released
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Exam City Intimation Slip for NTET 2026 at exams.nta.nic.in/ntet/. NTET (National Teachers Eligibility Test) is an eligibility certificate exam for AYUSH and Homoeopathy postgraduates who want to enter the teaching profession in AYUSH colleges across India.
The exam is scheduled on 28 April 2026 in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. Candidates must check their assigned exam city now and wait for the Admit Card, which will be released a few days before the exam date.
What is NTET?
NTET is not a school teacher exam. It is conducted for doctors holding postgraduate degrees (MD/MS) in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, or Homoeopathy who wish to become lecturers/professors in government AYUSH medical colleges. Clearing NTET earns an eligibility certificate — the minimum qualifying score is 50% (50/100). There is no negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria
Age: Minimum 21 years (no upper age limit). Qualification: Postgraduate degree (MD/MS or equivalent) in the respective AYUSH or Homoeopathy discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university.
