Sashastra Seema Bal has declared the CBT result for its long-pending Head Constable (Ministerial) 2020 recruitment and called 1,725 candidates, 15 times the 115 vacancies category-wise, to the typing / skill test. The test starts on 16 November 2026 at Alwar, the 25th Battalion at Ghitorni (New Delhi) and the SSB Academy, Bhopal, and on 18 November 2026 at Supaul and Frontier HQ, Gorakhpur. The CBT cut-off is 90 for UR, 88 for OBC, 86 for EWS, 84 for SC and 80 for ST.

How to Get the Head Constable (Ministerial) 2020 — Typing / Skill Test (Advt. No. 338/RC/SSB/HC(Min)/2020) Exam Date

1. SSB says the admit cards will be uploaded soon on recruitment.ssb.gov.in and ssb.gov.in; no release date is given.
2. Open recruitment.ssb.gov.in and look for the Head Constable (Ministerial) 2020 typing / skill test admit card notice.
3. Log in with the details from your application, then download and print the admit card.
4. Check your test centre and date on the admit card: 16 November centres are Alwar, Ghitorni and Bhopal; 18 November centres are Supaul and Gorakhpur.

What to Check

The shortlist is in Annexures A to E of SSB notice No. 570 dated 2 November 2026 (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST), and the general instructions for the typing test are in Annexure F. Where two candidates had equal CBT marks, the older candidate was ranked higher, and if the date of birth was also the same, the order went by name alphabetically. Category-wise, UR has 705 candidates for 47 posts, EWS 165 for 11, OBC 390 for 26, SC 315 for 21 and ST 150 for 10.
