What Is UP PGT?

The UP Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) is a Class 11–12 teacher post in government-aided secondary schools in Uttar Pradesh. PGT teachers are responsible for teaching their specialised subject at the senior secondary level. The salary for UP PGT falls under Pay Level 8 (₹47,600–₹1,51,100) as per the 7th Pay Commission, with additional allowances.

Exam Pattern (UP PGT)
