UP Police Sub Inspector SI Advt. No. 03/2025 — Exam Conducted, Result Awaited
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) conducted the Sub Inspector (SI) written examination for Advertisement No. 03/2025 on March 14 and 15, 2026. The recruitment is for 4,543 posts and attracted over 10 lakh candidates across 1,090 exam centres in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The provisional answer key was released on March 23, 2026. What Happens After the Written Result
Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). PST checks height and chest measurements as per the category-wise physical requirements. PET involves a running test — candidates must complete the required distance within the prescribed time. Only candidates who pass both PST and PET proceed to the final merit list.

Cut-Off — What to Expect
With over 10 lakh candidates and 4,543 posts, the competition ratio is roughly 220:1. Based on previous UP Police SI cut-offs, candidates should expect a high cut-off — historically around 250–280 out of 400 for the General category. Reserved category cut-offs are lower.
