Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The photo on my admit card looks blurry — will I be allowed in?
A: A blurry photo can cause trouble at the gate. Try downloading again — a fresh PDF sometimes renders the photo more clearly. If it is still blurry, carry your original photo ID and email UPPSC immediately with a complaint.

Q: Can I carry my mobile phone to the exam centre?
A: No. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, and any electronic gadget are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. They will be seized if found — leave them at home or in a locker outside the exam building.

Q: What if my exam centre changes at the last minute?
A: UPPSC rarely changes centres after admit card release, but if they do, a revised admit card is issued. Keep checking the official website and your registered email/SMS alerts up to exam day.

Q: Is there negative marking in the LT Grade Mains exam?
A: No. The UP LT Grade Mains does not have negative marking. Attempt all 150 questions — there is no penalty for wrong answers.

Q: My mains exam is in July 2026 — do I need to download the admit card now?
A: Yes, download it now regardless of your exam date. Verify all details while there is still time to report errors. UPPSC may restrict portal access later. Save both a digital copy and a printed copy.

Q: How many posts are there in UPPSC LT Grade 2025 recruitment?
A: The current cycle (Advt. A-5/E-1/2025) has 7,466 posts for Assistant Teacher (LT Grade / Trained Graduate Grade) across all subjects in UP Government Inter Colleges.
