UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2026 Pre Admit Card — 85 Posts
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) ne Combined Geo-Scientist Examination (CGSE) 2026 ke Preliminary Exam ke liye Admit Card jari kiya hai 85 posts ke liye. Yeh exam Geological Survey of India (GSI), Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), aur Ministry of Mines mein Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemical Chemist, aur Scientific Assistant posts ke liye hoti hai. Earth Sciences, Geology, Geophysics, Chemistry ya Physics background wale candidates is exam ke liye eligible hote hain.
Pre Exam Pattern
- Paper I: General Studies — 100 questions, 2 hours
- Paper II: Subject-specific (Geology/Geophysics/Chemistry) — 100 questions, 2 hours

GSI Mein Career
Geological Survey of India mein Geologist field surveys karta hai — mineral exploration, groundwater assessment, earthquake hazard mapping, etc. Kafi field work hota hai — mountains, deserts, remote areas mein travel karna padta hai. Adventure + science ka combination.

UPSC Geo-Scientist (Geologist) — Pay Level 10, ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 basic. Field work allowances, TA, aur GSI-specific benefits bhi milte hain. Net in-hand approximately ₹65,000 – ₹75,000/month.
