CTET September 2026 – Application Correction Window Open
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the Application Correction Window for CTET September 2026. Candidates who applied for CTET September 2026 between 11 May and 10 June 2026 can now make corrections in their application form. The CTET September 2026 exam is scheduled for 06 September 2026. This is a correction window — new applications are NOT accepted at this stage. Only candidates with submitted applications can edit select fields.

Application Fee
No additional fee is charged for the correction window. The fee was collected during the original application period (11 May – 10 June 2026):
- One Paper only: General/OBC ₹1,000 | SC/ST ₹500 | Differently Abled Free
- Both Papers: General/OBC ₹1,200 | SC/ST ₹600 | Differently Abled Free
What Can Be Corrected?
- Personal details (Name, date of birth, gender — subject to CBSE rules)
- Category (General/OBC/SC/ST/PH) — with valid document proof
- Subject/Paper selection (Paper 1, Paper 2, or both)
- Medium of examination (Hindi/English)
- Exam city preference
- Photo and signature (if previously rejected or unclear)

About CTET
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by CBSE twice a year and is mandatory for teaching positions in Class 1–8 in Central Government schools (KVS, NVS, Army Schools, DSSSB, etc.). Paper 1 qualifies for Class 1–5 and Paper 2 for Class 6–8. CTET certificate now has lifetime validity (earlier it was 7 years). Once qualified, no need to reappear unless you want to improve your score.

How to Access Correction Window
- Visit CTET Candidate Login Portal
- Login with your application number and password
- Click on "Correction in Application Form"
- Make the necessary changes and verify
- Submit the corrected form (no fee required)
