Salary / Pay

The remuneration for the Junior Programmer (job-work basis) post is ₹24,100 per month, as stated in the official notification's eligibility table. This is a panel-based engagement — clearing the test and making it to the panel does not guarantee immediate placement; candidates are deployed against confirmed requirements received from indenting organisations. The panel stays valid for two years (extendable up to five years).

Selection Process

Selection happens in stages. First is a computer-based Domain Knowledge Test (MCQs) covering computer topics and questions specific to the post applied for; clearing it stays valid for one year. Candidates who qualify and pass document scrutiny undergo one month of training at IDDC, Ambala &/or HMSDC, Gurugram after depositing a refundable security deposit of ₹1,500. They then appear in the Second Test (Practical/Project test). The final merit gives equal weightage to the 1st Domain Knowledge Test and the 2nd Practical Test, and the panel is drawn up per merit and the reservation roster. The test is held only at Ambala and Gurugram centres.

How to Apply

Apply online only through HARTRON's website (hartron.org.in) between 30 July 2026 and 09 August 2026. Steps: open the recruitment portal, register/log in, fill the online application form choosing the single district you want (only one district is allowed per candidate), upload the required documents and photo/signature, pay the application fee online or offline as per your category, and submit the final form. Take a printout for your records. Admit cards can be downloaded from the website from 12 August 2026 onwards.
