HSSC Group C CET Phase II 2026 — 1238 Jail Warder & Assistant Superintendent Posts
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has opened the Group C CET Phase II recruitment under Advt. No. 02/2026 for 1238 posts of Assistant Superintendent (Jail) and Warder. This phase is open to candidates who have qualified the Haryana CET, and the application window is short — 24 to 30 June 2026. A correction window follows on 1–2 July 2026.
Who Can Apply
The minimum qualification is 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent. The age limit is 18 to 42 years. As these are prison-cadre posts, physical standards apply at the testing stage. Reserved-category benefits follow Haryana government rules.
Selection — Written + Physical Tests
Selection involves a written examination, a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and a Physical Screening Test (PST). Warder and Assistant Superintendent (Jail) roles require physical fitness, so prepare for the PMT/PST alongside the written exam. There is no application fee for any candidate.
