Indian Navy SSC Officers June 2027 (AT 27) — 275 Officer Posts Across 13 Branches
The Indian Navy has invited applications for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) to 275 officers for the June 2027 (AT 27) Course. The vacancies span 13 branches and cadres — including Executive, Pilot, Observer, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Logistics, Naval Armament Inspection Cadre (NAIC), Education, Engineering, Electrical, Submarine Tech, and Naval Constructor. Both unmarried men and unmarried women can apply (most branches have women vacancies). Eligibility
The qualification depends on the branch — broadly, a BE/B.Tech with 60% marks (in the relevant or any branch as specified), or a specified Post-Graduate degree / MBA / MCA. Some branches require minimum 60% in English at Class 10/12. The age criteria are by date of birth — generally born 02 July 2002 to 01 January 2008, with a different range for Pilot/Observer (02 July 2003 to 01 July 2008) and Education branches. No Fee — How to Apply
There is no application fee. Apply online only at the Join Indian Navy portal (joinindiannavy.gov.in) between 25 June and 27 July 2026. Selection is through shortlisting, the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, and a medical examination.
