Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (RSET) 2026 – Apply Online
The University of Kota (UoK) on behalf of the Government of Rajasthan has released the notification for Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (RSET / Rajasthan SET) 2026. This test is the eligibility certificate required to become an Assistant Professor in Rajasthan state universities and government colleges. The SET is conducted for 24 subjects and the exam is scheduled for 06 September 2026. There is no upper age limit for this exam.

Subjects Covered (24 Subjects)
Rajasthan SET is conducted for the following 24 subjects: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Geography, Psychology, Education, Philosophy, Public Administration, Commerce, Management, Law, Home Science, Fine Arts, Music, Physical Education, Environmental Science, Defence & Strategic Studies, Social Work, and Computer Science / IT. Candidates must select the subject matching their Master's degree.
Eligibility
- Education: Master's Degree (Post-Graduation) in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates get 5% relaxation (50% marks acceptable).
- Age Limit: No upper age limit. Any candidate who has completed Master's degree is eligible, regardless of age.
- Nationality: Indian Nationals. Candidates must be domicile of Rajasthan OR must intend to teach in Rajasthan state institutions.

Both papers are mandatory. Qualifying the SET makes you eligible for Assistant Professor positions in Rajasthan state colleges and universities. SET certificate has lifetime validity — once qualified, no need to reappear.

- Select your subject and fill the application form
- Pay fee and submit before 15 July 2026
