Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has opened 3,540 Contractual Teaching Associate seats across 32 subjects in government colleges. If you have a Master's degree with 55% marks and you've cleared NET or hold a PhD, you are eligible — and with a last date of 3 June 2026, you have a few weeks to get your application in. This is the Raj-CES (Rajasthan Contractual Education Service) programme, and it fills college teaching roles on a consolidated pay of ₹28,850 per month.
Before applying, understand what "contractual" means here. This is not a permanent government post — you are hired for up to 5 years, with one possible extension of up to 3 more years (maximum 8 years, subject to age cap of 60). There is no regular pay matrix, no grade pay, and no automatic permanence. That said, it is a formal Rajasthan government teaching role and the 3,540 seats represent one of the larger state-level college recruitment drives in recent years.
