SSC CGL 2026 Application Re-Opened — 12,256 Central Government Posts
The Staff Selection Commission has re-opened the SSC CGL 2026 application window, giving candidates a second chance to apply for 12,256 Group B and Group C vacancies. These are among the most sought-after central government jobs — Assistant Audit Officer (AAO), Assistant Section Officer (ASO), Inspector, Examiner, Customs Officer, Auditor, and more, across various ministries and departments. The re-open window runs 23 to 25 June 2026 (until 11:00 PM), with fee payment allowed up to 26 June 2026.
Who Can Apply
You need a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university (as on 01-08-2026). The age limit varies by post — broadly 18–27 years for Group C posts, 18–30 or 20–30 for most Group B posts, and up to 32 years for Junior Statistical Officer — with reserved-category relaxation as per Government rules.
Fee and Correction
The application fee is ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS; SC, ST, female, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt. A correction window is available 1–3 July 2026 for fixing form errors. If you missed the original window, this re-open is the chance to get in.
