BHU ICMR Project Recruitment 2026 – Project Research Scientist-II & 3 Technical Support-III Posts, Varanasi

A good one for life-science graduates and postgraduates in UP: BHU's Biochemistry department has four posts in a five-year ICMR project on new treatments for post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis. One Project Research Scientist-II (₹67,000 + 20% HRA) and three Project Technical Support-III posts (₹28,000 + 20% HRA).

The PRS-II needs a Master's with three years' experience, or a PhD; parasite immunology experience is preferred. PTS-III needs a three-year graduation with three years' experience, or a postgraduate degree, in biochemistry, biotechnology, zoology, genetics, life sciences or microbiology. Applications are on plain paper to the PI by e-mail or post, within 21 days of the 26 October notice (by 16 November 2026).
