BRIC-NIBMG Kalyani Research Associate-I / SRF / JRF 2026 – DBT Colon Cancer Project, Apply by 12 November

BRIC-NIBMG, Kalyani (West Bengal) has one project position under a DBT-funded study on how the p53 P300S mutation is linked to colon cancer, using Indian patient samples, cell lines and animal models. The work covers cell biology, animal experiments, biochemistry, molecular biology and imaging.

The institute wants a Research Associate-I (₹58,000 + 27% HRA) with a PhD/MD/MS/MDS and a first-author cancer-biology paper from the PhD. If no suitable RA is found, it will take an SRF (₹42,000 + 27% HRA) or JRF (₹37,000 + 27% HRA). JRFs need a postgraduate degree in biotechnology, life sciences, microbiology, biochemistry or molecular biology and a national-level test; SRFs also need two years of research.
