ICAR-IARI JRF Walk-in 2026 – Agricultural Engineering, DST AI Robotic Onion Transplanter Project, ₹37,000 + HRA, 23 November

The Division of Agricultural Engineering, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi needs one Junior Research Fellow for a DST-funded project to develop an AI-based robotic precision transplanter for onion. Pay is a fixed ₹37,000 a month plus 30% HRA. The post is for one year at first and can be extended by a year.

You need an M.Tech./M.E. in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electronics or Manufacturing Engineering after a 4/5-year bachelor's degree, NET (ICAR/UGC/CSIR) or GATE, and two years of research experience. Skills in agro-machine fabrication, CAD, and C, Python or Android programming are desirable. The age limit is 35, with relaxation.
