NLSIU Bengaluru Assistant Professor (Humanities & Social Sciences) Recruitment 2026 – 8 Posts, Apply by 9 December

NLSIU Bengaluru is hiring 8 Assistant Professors in Humanities & Social Sciences, with Economics, Sociology, Political Science and History as the indicative areas, all at Pay Level 10 (VII CPC). Notification 21 has five permanent posts (3 UR, 1 SC, 1 ST), confirmed after a two-year probation and held until age 65. Notification 23 has three unreserved posts on a five-year contract.

All posts need a Master's degree with at least 55% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/differently-abled). For the permanent posts you also need NET/SLET/SET, a PhD (with conditions for registrations before 11 July 2009), or a PhD from a top-500 world-ranked university.
