What you should know
A good match if you know GIS and ecological modelling: Sikkim University and ATREE are hiring a JRF under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies for a project on using agroforestry to build climate resilience and protect biodiversity in the Sikkim-Darjeeling Himalaya.
You need a first-class Master's in life sciences, environmental science, geography, forestry or an allied subject, with NET. Without NET you can still apply and be considered as a Junior Project Fellow. RS-GIS, ecological modelling and R are the skills they want. The fellowship is ₹37,000 + 9% HRA. E-mail the prescribed form to the PI within 21 days of the 26 October notice, by 16 November 2026.
