What Is the RAS Job?
RAS (Rajasthan Administrative Service) is a Group A gazetted service under the Government of Rajasthan. Officers are posted as Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs), Block Development Officers (BDOs), or Deputy Collectors at the entry level. The pay scale starts at Pay Level 14 (₹56,100 basic) under the 7th Pay Commission, with all state government allowances. It is one of the most sought-after government positions in Rajasthan.
What Happens After the Final Result?
Shortlisted candidates will receive a call letter for Document Verification (DV). You will need to bring original certificates: educational qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, identity proof, and photographs. After DV, a medical examination is conducted before the final appointment order is issued.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has declared the Final Result for RAS/RTS Combined Competitive Examination 2024. This is the most prestigious state civil services exam in Rajasthan — selecting officers for Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS), Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS), and other allied state services.
The selection went through three stages: Prelims (Objective) → Mains (Written) → Interview (Personality Test). The final merit list is prepared on the basis of Mains + Interview marks combined. Candidates who appear in this final list are recommended for appointment to the respective services.
