NDA Written Marks — What Is a Good Score?
The written cut-off for NDA varies by wing and year. Historically, cut-offs for written + SSB combined have been around 700–750 out of 1800 for Army, and higher for Air Force and Navy (competitive branches). The written mark alone does not determine selection — SSB interview carries equal weight.
Preparing for the Next NDA Cycle?
UPSC conducts NDA I (notification in November, exam in April) and NDA II (notification in May, exam in September) every year. If you are under 19 years 6 months on the first day of the course month, you are still eligible for future attempts. Focus on Mathematics (algebra, trigonometry, calculus) and GAT (English, General Science, History, Geography, Current Affairs) for higher written scores.
