UPESSC Assistant Professor Admit Card 2026 – Exam 19-20 November, City Slip from 8 Nov
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced, in a notice dated 6 November 2026, that the written examination for Assistant Professor (Advertisement No. 04/2026) will be held on 19 and 20 November 2026. The exam will run in two shifts each day, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, at the six divisional headquarters of Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj and Varanasi. Advance intimation of your exam district will be available on the Commission's website from 8 November 2026, and the admit card can be downloaded from 15 November 2026. This recruitment is for 1936 Assistant Professor posts in government-aided co-education and women's degree colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

How to Get the UPESSC Assistant Professor Selection Examination 2026 (Advt. No. 04/2026) Admit Card
- Visit the Commission's website upessc.up.gov.in.
- From 8 November 2026, open the exam district advance intimation link on the homepage and enter the details asked to see your exam district.
- From 15 November 2026, click the 'Admit Card Download' button on the homepage.
- Log in with your registration number or mobile number and date of birth, then download and print the admit card.
What to Check
The exam district intimation released from 8 November is not an admit card; the Commission has said that no candidate will be allowed into the exam without a valid admit card, which you can download from 15 November 2026. Your admit card will show your roll number, date, time and centre, and the centre cannot be changed. Under the advertisement, the written exam has 120 multiple-choice questions for 360 marks in 2 hours: 30 questions on general knowledge and 90 on the concerned subject. Each correct answer gets 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted for a wrong or multiple answer. Answers are marked on an OMR sheet with a black ballpoint pen only; gel pens, pencils and whitener are not allowed. After the written exam there is a 40-mark interview. Candidates with disabilities who need a scribe must send their full registration details to the Commission's office at least one week before the exam. The notice does not yet say which subject is held in which shift.

8 नवंबर से जारी होने वाली परीक्षा जनपद की सूचना प्रवेश पत्र नहीं है; आयोग ने स्पष्ट किया है कि वैध प्रवेश पत्र के बिना किसी भी अभ्यर्थी को परीक्षा में सम्मिलित नहीं होने दिया जाएगा, और प्रवेश पत्र 15 नवंबर 2026 से डाउनलोड होगा। प्रवेश पत्र में आपका अनुक्रमांक, परीक्षा की तिथि, समय और केंद्र होगा, और परीक्षा केंद्र में किसी भी दशा में परिवर्तन नहीं होगा। विज्ञापन के अनुसार लिखित परीक्षा में 360 अंकों के 120 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न होंगे और अवधि 2 घंटे होगी: 30 प्रश्न सामान्य ज्ञान और 90 प्रश्न संबंधित विषय पर। प्रत्येक सही उत्तर पर 3 अंक मिलेंगे और गलत या एक से अधिक उत्तर पर 1 अंक काटा जाएगा। उत्तर OMR शीट पर केवल काले बॉल पॉइंट पेन से भरने हैं; जेल पेन, पेंसिल और व्हाइटनर वर्जित हैं। लिखित परीक्षा के बाद 40 अंकों का साक्षात्कार होगा। श्रुतलेखक (scribe) चाहने वाले दिव्यांग अभ्यर्थी परीक्षा से कम से कम एक सप्ताह पहले अपना पूरा पंजीयन विवरण आयोग कार्यालय को भेजें। किस पाली में कौन सा विषय होगा, यह अभी सूचना में नहीं बताया गया है।
