The Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, has issued Recruitment Notification 01/2026 for 254 teaching posts in its 30 schools across 15 centres, including Anushaktinagar (Mumbai), Tarapur, Kaiga, Kudankulam, Kalpakkam, Hyderabad, Narora, Rawatbhata, Indore and Kakrapar. The posts are Principal (4), Vice-Principal (1), PGT (27), TGT (102), Librarian (13), Primary Teacher (89), Primary Teacher – Music (10) and Balvatika Teacher (8). Eligibility
Qualifications differ by post. Primary Teacher: Class 12 with 50% and a two-year D.El.Ed (or four-year B.El.Ed, or RCI D.Ed Special Education), plus CTET Paper-I. TGT: a bachelor's degree with 50% in the subject combination and B.Ed with 50% (or the integrated routes), plus CTET Paper-II; TGT Computer Science asks for B.Sc CS/IT, BCA or B.E./B.Tech CS/IT, and P&HE asks for B.P.Ed or a four-year physical education degree. PGT: a master's degree with 50% in the subject and B.Ed with 50% (PGT Computer Science: M.Sc CS/IT, MCA or M.E./M.Tech CS/IT). Librarian: a bachelor's in Library (and Information) Science with 50% and computer knowledge. PRT Music: Class 12 and a bachelor's in Music/Performing Arts (a music diploma is not accepted). Balvatika Teacher: Class 12 with 50% and English, and a two-year nursery/pre-school/ECCE diploma or B.Ed (Nursery). Principal and Vice-Principal need a master's, B.Ed and the service experience given in the notice. Eligibility is counted on the last date, 22 November 2026.
Upper age limits are post-wise: 30 years for Primary Teacher, PRT (Music) and Balvatika Teacher; 35 years for TGT and Librarian; 40 years for PGT; 35–45 years for Vice-Principal and 35–50 years for Principal. Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, women of all categories 10 years for PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT and Balvatika posts, PwBD 10 years (13 OBC, 15 SC/ST), and further relaxation for AEES employees, central government servants and ex-servicemen as per the notice. Only the highest single relaxation applies.

Salary / Pay
Pay follows the 7th CPC Pay Matrix: Principal Level 12 (₹78,800–2,09,200), Vice-Principal Level 10 (₹56,100–1,77,500), PGT Level 8 (₹47,600–1,51,100), TGT and Librarian Level 7 (₹44,900–1,42,400), and Primary Teacher, PRT (Music) and Balvatika Teacher Level 6 (₹35,400–1,12,400). Selected candidates can be posted to any AEES centre in India, and requests for a change of station are not entertained.
Selection Process
Selection is by a Computer Based Test followed by a skill test/interview. For PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, PRT (Music) and Balvatika posts the CBT has 120 MCQs for 120 marks in 2 hours: General English 5, General Hindi 5, Reasoning 5, General Knowledge 5, Computer Literacy 5, Numerical Ability 5, Teaching Methodology 15 and the concerned subject 75. Principal and Vice-Principal have a 150-question paper of 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking and no re-evaluation. For UR/EWS vacancies, candidates need 60% or more in the CBT to be shortlisted for the skill test. The detailed syllabus is on the AEES application portal.
How to Apply
Apply only on aees.onlineregistrationforms.com between 2 November 2026 (10 AM) and 22 November 2026 (11:50 PM); no other mode is accepted. The fee is ₹750 application fee plus ₹250 processing fee. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates pay only the ₹250 processing fee, and GST is charged extra by the bank. If you apply for more than one post, pay the fee separately for each. Pay online by debit card, credit card or net banking, and check that the payment status shows OK. Keep your certificates ready for the skill test/interview.
