Coal India Management Trainee (MT) Recruitment 2026 – 660 Posts
Coal India Limited (CIL), the world's largest coal-producing company and a Maharatna Central PSU, has released a recruitment notification for 660 Management Trainee (MT) posts across multiple engineering and non-engineering disciplines. Selected candidates will join as Executive Trainees and will be absorbed as regular Management Trainees after one year of probation. CIL MTs are posted across subsidiaries like BCCL, CCL, ECL, MCL, NCL, SECL, WCL, and CMPDIl.

Eligibility
- Engineering Disciplines (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/ECE/Systems/IE): B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engineering) in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). GATE 2024/2025/2026 score is the primary selection criterion for most disciplines.
- Geology: M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology with minimum 60% (55% SC/ST).
- Hindi: Master's in Hindi + Graduation in any science/social science subject.
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 21 June 2026. SC/ST get 5-year relaxation, OBC get 3 years, PH get 10 years.
Stipend During Training
Management Trainees receive a consolidated stipend of ₹50,000/month during the one-year training period. After regularisation, they are placed in the E2 grade (IDA Pay Scale: ₹50,000–₹1,60,000) with a CTC of approximately ₹12–14 LPA including perks and HRA at CIL subsidiaries.
