Eligibility
| Educational Qualification | A Bachelor’s degree (graduation) in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. A valid, working knowledge of computers is required. |

Salary / Pay
Probationary Officers are appointed in Junior Management Grade Scale I with a basic pay of ₹48,480 (scale ₹48,480–85,920), plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other perquisites as per the rules of the allotted bank. The gross in-hand is considerably higher than the basic.
Selection Process
Selection is in four stages: an Online Preliminary Examination, an Online Main Examination (objective + descriptive), a Personality Test (mandatory but non-qualifying), and a Common Interview. The final merit is calculated with 80% weightage to the Mains and 20% to the Interview.
