The Indian Navy is recruiting 15 officers for its SSC Executive (Information Technology) Branch — January 2027 Course. This is not a constable or clerk role. It's a Short Service Commission officer post where you join as a Lieutenant, wear epaulettes, command teams, and work on naval IT infrastructure, cyber defence, and information systems at the national level. If you have a CS/IT/MCA/BCA degree with 60% marks and you're under 24, this window closes on 01 June 2026.

What Is SSC Executive (IT)?
Short Service Commission (SSC) means you serve the Navy for a fixed term — initially 10 years, extendable by 4 more. Exceptional officers get converted to Permanent Commission. As an Executive (IT) officer you handle the Navy's information systems, network security, communication infrastructure, data systems, and cyber operations — areas that the Navy takes very seriously given India's 7,500 km coastline and strategic naval presence.
