No other allowances or benefits are given. You get one day of leave per month (up to 4 days at a time). Apprentices are not employees of NICL, PF/ESI/Bonus rules do not apply, and the company has no obligation to give a regular job after the 12 months.
Selection Process
The Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) will shortlist candidates from the NATS application data on the basis of the percentage of marks in graduation (counted up to two decimal places). If your result is in CGPA/OGPA/GPA, convert it to percentage using your university's formula and enter that percentage. If two candidates have the same percentage, the older candidate is placed higher. Shortlisted candidates are informed by e-mail only and must appear in person for document verification at NICL offices. No TA/DA or boarding/lodging is paid. Being called for verification does not guarantee selection; the final list depends on verified documents and seats available in the state.
How to Apply
Apply only through the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) by 18 November 2026. If you are already enrolled on NATS, log in, go to "Apply against advertised vacancies", search "NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD" and click Apply; the status will show "applied". If you are new, click Student → Regular Student → Student Registration, complete the form to get your enrollment number, then log in and apply the same way. NICL's enrollment ID is EWBPNC096867. Enter your percentage of marks in the "% of marks / CGPAx10" field, otherwise your candidature will not be considered. Upload your degree certificate, provisional certificate, consolidated mark sheet, Aadhaar card, bank passbook in your own name and a recent passport-size photograph. The notice does not mention any application fee. For help, e-mail natssupport_student@aicte-india.org (BOPT) or ho.pers@nic.co.in (NICL).
