What you should know
Permanent scientist posts at DBT institutes do not come often, so this one is worth a careful look. BRIC-NIAB in Hyderabad, which works on animal genetics, vaccines, diagnostics and nutrition, has five regular posts: one Scientist-D (Pay Level 12) and four Scientist-C (Pay Level 11).
You will need a PhD in life sciences or a related subject (an MD/MDS/MVSc also qualifies), post-PhD experience and a good publication record. The age limit is 35 for Scientist-C and 40 for Scientist-D. Women, SC/ST, ex-servicemen and PwBD candidates don't pay the ₹1,500 fee. Apply online by 30 November 2026, 5 PM, and if you are already in service, arrange your NOC in advance.
DBT संस्थानों में स्थायी साइंटिस्ट पद कम ही निकलते हैं, इसलिए आप इस भर्ती को ध्यान से देखें। हैदराबाद का BRIC-NIAB (पशु आनुवंशिकी, वैक्सीन, डायग्नोस्टिक्स और पोषण पर काम करने वाला संस्थान) पाँच नियमित पद भर रहा है: एक साइंटिस्ट-D (पे लेवल 12) और चार साइंटिस्ट-C (पे लेवल 11)।
इसके लिए लाइफ साइंसेज़ या संबंधित विषय में PhD (MD/MDS/MVSc भी मान्य), PhD के बाद का अनुभव और अच्छे पब्लिकेशन चाहिए। आयु सीमा साइंटिस्ट-C के लिए 35 और साइंटिस्ट-D के लिए 40 वर्ष है। महिलाओं, SC/ST, पूर्व सैनिकों और दिव्यांग उम्मीदवारों के लिए ₹1,500 फीस माफ़ है। आवेदन 30 नवंबर 2026 शाम 5 बजे तक ऑनलाइन करें; अगर आप पहले से नौकरी में हैं तो NOC पहले से तैयार रखें।
