Visva-Bharati Faculty Recruitment 2026 – 14 Professor, Associate & Assistant Professor Posts

Visva-Bharati's list is small but unusual: 14 regular posts, several of them in fine arts and music (Sculpture, Painting, Graphic Art, Esraj, Rabindra Sangit, Kheyal) that rarely come up at central universities. There are also posts in English, Geography, Botany, Physics, Odia, Textile and Agricultural Extension.

Most posts are reserved for a specific category, so check the category against your own before applying. Arts posts can also be filled by artists with a strong professional record instead of a PhD. Apply online on the Samarth portal (curec.samarth.ac.in) by 15 November 2026, 11:59 PM. Women and PH candidates do not pay the fee.

विश्वभारती की यह भर्ती छोटी है पर खास है: 14 नियमित पद, जिनमें कई ललित कला और संगीत (मूर्तिकला, पेंटिंग, ग्राफिक आर्ट, एसराज, रवींद्र संगीत, ख़याल) के हैं, जो केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में कम ही निकलते हैं। अंग्रेज़ी, भूगोल, वनस्पति विज्ञान, भौतिकी, ओड़िया, टेक्सटाइल और कृषि प्रसार के पद भी हैं।

ज़्यादातर पद किसी एक श्रेणी के लिए आरक्षित हैं, इसलिए आवेदन से पहले अपनी श्रेणी ज़रूर मिला लें। कला के पदों पर PhD की जगह मज़बूत पेशेवर उपलब्धि वाले कलाकार भी पात्र हैं। आवेदन Samarth पोर्टल (curec.samarth.ac.in) पर 15 नवंबर 2026, रात 11:59 तक करें। महिलाओं और दिव्यांग उम्मीदवारों को फीस नहीं देनी है।
