HBTU Kanpur Faculty Recruitment 2026 – 24 Professor, Associate & Assistant Professor Posts

Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur's state technical university, has opened 24 regular faculty posts in one advertisement: 7 Professor, 11 Associate Professor and 6 Assistant Professor, spread over 15 departments from Oil, Paint, Plastic and Leather Technology to Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Economics. There is also one Assistant Workshop Superintendent post.

Two things to check before you apply. First, a few posts are future vacancies: the notice marks posts in Electronics, Mechanical, Paint Technology and Mathematics as falling vacant between December 2026 and August 2027. Second, the advertisement itself does not list qualifications or pay: those are in the recruitment rules, screening criteria and general instructions on hbtu.ac.in, so read them for your level before filling the form.
