IIT Gandhinagar Project Engineer (Semiconductor Safety & EHS) 2026 – SAMARTH Project, ₹60,000–1,25,000, Apply by 20 November

IIT Gandhinagar needs one Project Engineer (Semiconductor Safety & EHS) for SAMARTH, its Silicon and Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Research and Training Hub, under Prof. Nihar Ranjan Mohapatra (Electrical Engineering). The job is to run the day-to-day environmental, health and safety programme of the cleanroom and semiconductor labs: SOPs, safety reviews for new tools, chemical and gas handling, hazardous waste, emergency drills, audits and safety training.

Pay is ₹60,000 to ₹1,25,000 a month (consolidated, HRA included), set by qualification and experience. You qualify with a Ph.D., or an M.Tech/M.S. with 2 years' experience, or a B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc. with 4 years' experience, plus 60% from graduation onwards. Cleanroom or fab safety experience, SEMI S2/ISO 14644 knowledge and NEBOSH/IOSH certification count in your favour. Apply online by 20 November 2026.
