The Department of Environment Studies, Panjab University needs a Project Scientist-D (Project Research Scientist-III) for the project Economic Analysis of Air Pollution Mitigation Strategies in India, under PI Dr Suman Mor. You will lead high-resolution gridded emission inventories for 3–7 Indian cities, estimate link-level traffic emissions, assess policy scenarios and supervise PM2.5 modelling with AERMOD.

Pay is ₹92,040 a month (fixed), and the upper age limit is 45. You need a postgraduate degree in Environment Engineering, Environment Science, Atmospheric Sciences or an allied subject with 3 years' air quality research, or the same degree with a Ph.D. in air quality.
