BIT Mesra JRF / Project Associate-I 2026 – ANRF PMECRG Concrete Thermal Battery Project, Rs 30,000–42,000 + HRA, Apply by 16 November

BIT Mesra's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has one research post in an ANRF Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant project led by Dr. Prodip Kumar Sarkar. The project studies engineered concrete as a solid-state thermal battery for next-generation concentrated solar power plants. You need a completed post-graduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Experience with cement or geopolymer concrete tests, finite element modelling or MATLAB helps, and the selected fellow will enrol for a Ph.D. at BIT Mesra.

If you have GATE you join as a JRF at Rs 37,000 + 20% HRA (Rs 42,000 in the 3rd year). Without GATE the post is Project Associate-I at Rs 30,000 + 20% HRA (Rs 33,000 in the 3rd year).
