Nationality Requirements
Applicants must be one of the following:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 with intention to permanently settle
- Person of Indian origin (PIO) who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa, or Vietnam with intent to permanently settle in India
For categories other than Indian citizens, a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India is required.

ITI requirement for technical trades: For MMV, Carpenter, Tailor, Cobbler, and Painter — your ITI certificate must be from an NCVT/SCVT-recognised institution.
