सच बात बताएँ — अगर NFSU Section Officer की तैयारी कर रहे हैं और अभी तक एक भी previous year paper नहीं solve किया, तो आँखें बंद करके तैयारी कर रहे हैं। कितने भी notes पढ़ लो, YouTube पर कितने भी lectures देख लो — जब तक असली paper timer लगाकर solve नहीं किया, तब तक पता ही नहीं चलेगा कि "paper कैसा आता है।"
NFSU एक नई university है — ज्यादा coaching centres cover नहीं करते, ज्यादा PYQs online नहीं मिलते। लेकिन यही तो advantage है — जिसने PYQ homework ठीक से किया, वो exam में सबसे आगे रहेगा।

200 सवाल, 180 मिनट। मतलब हर सवाल पर 54 सेकंड। Tight लगता है? है। लेकिन सारे 200 सवाल equally कठिन नहीं हैं। Computer और English sections 20-25 मिनट में खत्म हो सकते हैं। उससे बचा हुआ time Reasoning और Quant में लगाइए। Time management strategy है, option नहीं।

ध्यान दीजिए — time जोड़ें तो ~170 मिनट लगते हैं, exam 180 मिनट का है। सिर्फ 10 मिनट buffer। किसी भी section में slow हुए तो time खत्म। इसलिए PYQ practice timer लगाकर करना ज़रूरी है।

1. सामान्य ज्ञान एवं Current Affairs (50 प्रश्न)
आधा ज्ञान, आधी जागरूकता। या तो answer पता है, या नहीं। ~60% Static GK और ~40% Current Affairs।

2. Logical Reasoning (50 प्रश्न)
Kingmaker section। GK के marks सबके मिलते-जुलते होते हैं — Reasoning में toppers 15-20 marks का gap बनाते हैं। सबसे ज्यादा time-consuming भी यही है।

यहाँ speed सब कुछ है। सवाल IIT-level math नहीं हैं — Class 10-12 level हैं। लेकिन FAST solve करना है।

PYQ Method — 5 Steps में असली फायदा
ज्यादातर लोग PYQs magazine की तरह "पढ़ते" हैं। Flip करो, "hmm interesting" बोलो, आगे बढ़ जाओ। बिल्कुल useless। असली फायदा ऐसे लीजिए:
Step 1: Real exam simulate कीजिए। 200 सवाल, 180 मिनट timer, phone नहीं, bathroom break नहीं। 3 घंटे बैठ नहीं सकते practice में? Exam day पर focus टूटेगा।
Step 2: बेरहमी से score कीजिए। +1 सही, -0.25 गलत, 0 छोड़ा। Real score लिखिए। "Silly mistakes नहीं होती तो 145 आते" — नहीं। जो आया वो score है।
Step 3: हर गलती classify कीजिए।
— "Silly error" (concept पता था, गलत पढ़ा/calculate किया) → Solution: धीमे पढ़ें, दो बार पढ़ें
— "Concept gap" (topic ही नहीं आता) → Solution: इस हफ्ते वो topic पढ़ें
— "Time pressure" (पता था लेकिन time नहीं था) → Solution: attempt order optimize करें
Step 4: Topic-wise performance track कीजिए। Simple spreadsheet: Topic | कुल Qs | सही | गलत | छोड़ा। 3 papers के बाद pattern दिखेगा — "Coding में 7/8 आ रहे हैं लेकिन DI में 2/8" — अब पता चल गया अगले 20 घंटे कहाँ लगाने हैं।
Step 5: एक हफ्ते बाद गलत सवाल फिर से solve कीजिए। सिर्फ गलत वाले, mix करके। सही आए? Concept बैठ गया। फिर गलत? Deep study चाहिए।

NFSU paper SSC CGL से कैसा है?
SSC CGL Tier-I से थोड़ा आसान overall। GK similar level। Reasoning और Quant moderate — SSC के recent tricky papers जितना नहीं। English आसान। Computer section SSC CGL में नहीं होता लेकिन NFSU में free marks है। SSC CGL mocks में 150+ आ रहे हैं तो NFSU आराम से handle होगा।
Computer practical test भी होता है?
हाँ। Written exam के बाद Computer Skill Test (typing speed, MS Office practical)। Qualifying है — merit में नहीं जुड़ता। लेकिन pass करना ज़रूरी है। Typing practice कीजिए (minimum 35 WPM English, 30 WPM Hindi)।
Sure नहीं हूँ तो guess करूँ?
"2-option rule" use कीजिए। 4 में से 2 options confidently eliminate कर सकते हैं? बाकी 2 में से guess कीजिए — statistically gain होगा। लेकिन चारों options equally possible लगें? Skip कीजिए। -0.25 जल्दी जमा हो जाते हैं।
Exam से पहले कितने papers solve करने चाहिए?
Minimum 5। Ideally 8-10। पहले 3 papers pattern समझने के लिए। Papers 4-7 speed बनाने के लिए। Papers 8-10 final confidence के लिए। एक weekend में 5 papers मत solve कीजिए — हर 2-3 दिन एक paper, बीच में thorough analysis।
