Eligibility
- Education: LLB (3-year or 5-year integrated) with minimum 55% marks from a Bar Council of India recognized law institution. LLM holders or those with additional academic distinctions in law are preferred.
- Age Limit: 21–26 years as on the date of application. Note: There is NO age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST — the upper age limit of 26 applies to all categories. This makes early application in your legal career essential.
- Language: Proficiency in Hindi and English is expected. Knowledge of legal terminology in both languages is advantageous.
Role & Responsibilities
Research Associates at the Allahabad High Court work closely with individual judges on a wide variety of civil, criminal, constitutional, and writ matters. Key responsibilities include researching case laws and precedents, preparing case summaries, drafting judicial orders and judgments under supervision, and maintaining research databases. This position provides unmatched exposure to High Court proceedings and is a strong foundation for a judicial career or Senior Advocate practice.
