UPPSC PCS Prelims 2026 — 500 Posts, the Gateway to UP's Top State Services
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the PCS (Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services) 2026 notification for 500 Group A and Group B posts. Clearing this prestigious exam can make you a Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Block Development Officer (BDO), Assistant Commissioner, Naib Tehsildar, District Supply Officer, Commercial Tax Officer, and more. Applications are open from 25 June to 27 July 2026, with a correction window until 3 August 2026.
Who Can Apply
You need a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. The age limit is 21 to 40 years as on 1 July 2026, with reserved-category relaxation as per UP government rules. The exam has three stages: Preliminary (objective), Mains (descriptive), and Interview.
Application Fee
The fee is ₹125 for General/OBC/EWS, ₹65 for SC/ST, and ₹25 for PH (Divyang) candidates, paid through SBI MOPS (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or SBI E-Challan).

Apply online at uppsc.up.nic.in using your OTR (One Time Registration), fill the form, upload your documents, pay the fee, and submit before 27 July 2026. Use the correction window (25 June – 3 August 2026) to fix any errors. Keep your graduation details, photograph, and signature ready.
