NIACL Apprentices 2026 — 550 Apprentice Posts in a Government Insurance Major
The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL), India's largest general insurance PSU, is engaging 550 Apprentices from the open market under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for FY 2026. An apprenticeship at NIACL is a recognised entry point into the insurance sector and gives you a year of real exposure in a leading government insurer. The application window is 23 June to 6 July 2026.
Who Can Apply
You need a Graduate degree from a recognised university (as on 01-06-2026) and knowledge of the regional language of the state/UT you apply for. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on 01-06-2026, with reserved-category relaxation as per Government rules.
Stipend and Training
Selected apprentices undergo a 1-year training period with a monthly stipend of ₹12,300. Note that this is an apprenticeship — it is not a permanent NIACL job, though the experience is valuable for insurance and banking-sector careers.
