Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released Advertisement No. 08/Exam/2026 for 722 Excise Constable (Aabkari Sipahi) vacancies in the UP Excise Department. Excise Constables are responsible for enforcement of excise laws, checking illegal liquor trade, assisting in raids, and maintaining law and order related to excise activities. Eligibility
- Education: 12th pass (Intermediate) from a recognized board. Higher qualifications are acceptable.
- PET 2025 Requirement: Candidates must have passed UPSSSC PET 2025 (Preliminary Eligibility Test). PET score is mandatory to apply. Candidates without valid PET 2025 score cannot apply.
- Age Limit: 18–40 years. OBC +3, SC/ST +5, PH +10 years relaxation as per UP government rules.
- Physical Standards: Male: Height 168 cm (165 cm for SC/ST), Chest 79–84 cm. Female: Height 152 cm (147 cm for SC/ST). Weight as per standard.
