UPSSSC Vidhan Bhawan Guard & Fireman Recruitment 2026 – 170 Posts (Advt. 09/Exam/2026)
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released Advertisement No. 09/Exam/2026 for 170 posts of Guard and Fireman at Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha (Vidhan Bhawan). Out of the total vacancies, 120 posts are for Guard (Prahari) and 50 posts are for Fireman (Agnisamak). These are UP state government posts with good job security and regular salary. Physical standards and a physical efficiency test (PET) are mandatory parts of the selection process.

Eligibility
- Education: 12th pass (Intermediate) from a recognized board. Candidates must possess valid 12th marksheet at the time of document verification.
- Age Limit: 18–40 years as on cut-off date. Age relaxation applies as per UP government rules for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PH (10 years) categories.
- Physical Standards: Height, chest, and weight requirements apply as per the post. Male candidates must meet minimum height (typically 165–168 cm) and chest measurements. Physical standards are strictly verified.
Selection Process
- Online Written Test (CBT) – Objective type questions on General Knowledge, Hindi, Reasoning, and General Science
- Physical Measurement / Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Running, long jump, high jump as applicable

- Final Merit List based on written test score and physical test
