Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is work experience required for AAICLAS Security Screener 2026?
No. This recruitment is open to freshers. A graduation degree with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) is sufficient — no prior work experience is required.
Q: What is BCAS certification and how does salary depend on it?
BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) certification is mandatory for all aviation security screeners in India. AAICLAS provides AVSEC training in-house, after which you appear for the BCAS exam. Once certified, your full monthly salary of ₹30,000 starts. During the training period, you receive a stipend of ₹15,000/month (₹10,000 if you need a second attempt at the BCAS exam).
Q: Can I pick which airport I will be posted at?
You can state a preference in the application form, but AAICLAS posts candidates based on organizational requirements. You may be posted at any of its PAN-India locations.
Q: What happens after the 3-year contract ends?
The contract may be extended based on your performance and the company's operational needs. There is no automatic conversion to a permanent role — AAICLAS is clear that this is a fixed-term engagement only.
Q: What is the surety bond and why is it required?
You must submit a ₹1,50,000 surety bond (on ₹100 non-judicial stamp paper, notarised) before joining. This amount becomes payable to AAICLAS if you leave the organisation before completing the 3-year term after finishing your training. It is a standard industry practice in contract aviation security jobs.
