Eligibility
Production needs an engineering degree in Chemical, Cement Technology, Ceramic, Process or a related branch; an M.Sc in Chemistry or Materials Science needs 1 extra year of experience, and a diploma 3 extra years. Mechanical and E&I take degrees in a long list of related branches, with diploma holders needing 3 extra years. Civil needs a full-time B.E. or a full-time diploma with extra experience. Marketing accepts an engineering degree, an MBA or PGDM in Marketing or allied areas, or a diploma or BBA in Marketing, though its experience years are printed inconsistently, so check for a corrigendum. Company Secretary needs ICSI membership. Computer knowledge is essential, and Post Codes 01 to 04 are not open to colour-blind candidates.
The upper limit is 42 years on 16 November 2026. The notification lists relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 5 more for PwBD, but only against reserved positions. Since every post here is UR, reserved category candidates should not count on it.

The E-2 grade pays a consolidated ₹50,000 a month at Units and at the Corporate, Regional or Zonal Office. At Units you get quarters as per entitlement if available, and at the other offices ₹10,000 is given for accommodation. After 1 year of good service there is a 5% yearly increment, plus IPD medical cover for yourself, 20 days of leave a year, PF under the EPF Act and TA as per CCI rules.
Selection Process
CCI shortlists from your declarations and documents, using relevant experience, current CTC and higher qualification if many people apply for a post. A written test or group discussion may come before the interview. After that come a medical report from a Government hospital CMO in CCI's format and document verification. Interview candidates travelling more than 50 km get sleeper class train fare, but only if they bring original documents.
