It provides end-to-end project services for large oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and fertiliser projects — doing everything from initial feasibility and design to procurement support, construction supervision, and commissioning. This particular notification is a Special Recruitment Drive (SRD) — a targeted process used by central PSUs to fill reserved-category backlog vacancies that weren't filled in earlier rounds. Eligibility in Detail
- Senior Manager & all Engineer posts: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline with minimum 65% aggregate marks from an AICTE/UGC recognized institution. Relevant experience is mandatory (12 years for Senior Manager, 1 year for Engineer-level posts) calculated as on 30 April 2026.
- Manager (HR): Full-time MBA with HR specialization, or PG Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, or MSW with HR focus — with at least 8 years post-qualification HR experience in a reputed organization.
- Jr. Draftsman (all grades): Full-time three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering field. Gr-I requires 5 years of post-diploma experience; Gr-II requires 1 year. Experience in using CAD tools is typically expected.
- Junior Assistant (HR): Full-time BBA with minimum 60% marks and 1 year of relevant HR/admin experience.
- Junior Assistant (Hospitality): Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Administration with 1 year relevant experience.
Selection Process
EIL has kept the selection clean and two-tracked:
- Officer and Engineer cadre posts (Senior Manager, Manager HR, all Engineers): Shortlisted candidates appear for a Personal Interview. No written test.
- Support cadre posts (Jr. Draftsman all grades, Junior Assistant): A Skill Test assessing practical proficiency — draughting and CAD accuracy for Draftsman posts, office/HR tool proficiency for Junior Assistants.
After the interview or skill test, shortlisted candidates go through Document Verification and a Medical Examination before final appointment.
