Eligibility
You need a full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognised by BTE/AICTE, with 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant engineering field. Training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship and PhD research periods are not counted as experience. General/EWS candidates (and anyone applying against unreserved posts) need at least 50% marks; SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates need 45% against reserved posts. A Degree or PG Degree in the same discipline is also accepted.
The maximum age is 40 years as on the last date of application, 22 November 2026. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PwBD (in addition to category relaxation), with certificates.

Selection Process
Selection starts with a written test of 125 objective questions (one mark each) in 2.5 hours, with no negative marking; PwBD candidates get 50 minutes extra. The paper has about 35 questions each on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and about 20 on General Awareness. You need at least 50% (UR/EWS) or 45% (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD against reserved posts). Qualified candidates' uploaded documents are then scrutinised, a merit list is drawn up and provisional offers issued, subject to a medical examination and verification of originals at joining. Tentative test centres are Chennai, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram and Secunderabad; you choose two preferences while applying.
