Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), the Ministry of Defence enterprise, has invited online applications for 134 one-year apprentice seats at its Bhanur Unit in Sangareddy, Telangana: 78 Graduate (Engineering) and 56 Diploma (Technician) apprentices. You must enrol on the NATS portal by 7 November 2026 and apply to BDL there by 10 November 2026.
About Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Bhanur Unit, Sangareddy
BDL is a defence public sector company under the Ministry of Defence. This notification, Ref. BDL/6081/HR-L&D/APP/11/2026-27 dated 23 October 2026, is for the Bhanur Unit only and is issued under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. Training lasts one year. Eligibility
Graduate Apprentices need an engineering or technology degree from a recognised university or an institution empowered by an Act of Parliament. Diploma Apprentices need an engineering or technology diploma from a State Council or Board of Technical Education, or from a university. You must have passed out in Nov-2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Seats are in Mechanical (40 + 34), ECE (30 + 15), EEE (3 + 2), CSE / IT (2 + 1), Chemical (3 + 2) and Civil (diploma only, 2). Candidates who have done, or are doing, an apprenticeship under the Act, or who have one year or more of experience, are not eligible.
The notification says the age limit follows the Apprenticeship Rules; it does not give a minimum or maximum age. Physical standards are as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.

Selection Process
There is no written test or interview in the notification. Candidates are shortlisted on the marks in their essential qualification, category-wise (General, SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EWS). Shortlisted candidates are called for certificate verification, and a preliminary offer letter is given at verification itself. Reserved-category candidates must bring certificates in the Government format, or they are counted as General.
