RPSC RAS 2026 भारत के competitive exams में सबसे broad eligibility criteria में से एक है। कोई भी graduate apply कर सकता है — Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce, Law — कुछ भी। अगर आपकी उम्र 21–40 साल है और degree है, तो आप eligible हैं। इस article में हर eligibility rule, age relaxation table, और borderline cases के common सवालों के जवाब दिए गए हैं।

OBC/SC/ST/EWS age relaxation केवल Rajasthan domicile candidates के लिए है। दूसरे state के OBC candidates के लिए Rajasthan में relaxation applicable नहीं होती — official notification से confirm करें।

Physical Standards — Post के अनुसार
अधिकतर civil service posts (SDM, Tehsildar, BDO, revenue posts) के लिए कोई physical standard नहीं है। Exception सिर्फ police cadre posts के लिए:

हाँ, अगर degree UGC-recognized open या distance learning institution (IGNOU, state open universities) से है। AIU recognition जरूरी है।
Q: Engineering graduate RPSC RAS के civil service posts के लिए apply कर सकता है?
हाँ। B.Tech/B.E. degree सभी civil service posts के लिए valid graduation है। बहुत से engineering graduates RAS clear करके SDM, Tehsildar, BDO बन चुके हैं।
Q: Graduation में minimum percentage जरूरी है?
RPSC RAS के अधिकतर posts के लिए कोई minimum percentage नहीं है। Notification में सिर्फ "recognized university से graduation" लिखा होता है।
Q: Final year student (result pending) apply कर सकता है?
आमतौर पर हाँ — final year में appear हुए candidates apply कर सकते हैं। Document Verification पर degree/provisional certificate दिखानी होगी। Official notification से confirm करें।
Q: RPSC RAS में कितने attempts allowed हैं?
RPSC RAS में formal attempt limit नहीं है — जब तक age limit में हैं, apply कर सकते हैं। यह UPSC (6 attempts General) से अलग है।
Q: OBC certificate दूसरे state का है — क्या Rajasthan में काम आएगा?
नहीं। Rajasthan state services में age relaxation और reservation benefit Rajasthan domicile OBC candidates के लिए है। दूसरे state का OBC certificate काम नहीं आएगा — आप General category में count होंगे।
Application Process — Step by Step
RPSC RAS 2026 application SSO (Single Sign-On) Rajasthan portal से submit होती है:

Application और fee payment दोनों की last date 3 July 2026 है। Last day का wait न करें — SSO portal deadline पर congested हो जाता है। 28 June 2026 तक apply कर लें।
⚠️ Critical
E-Mitra (cash) से fee pay करने पर printed receipt जरूर लें जिसमें transaction ID हो। Fee paid but not reflecting in RPSC system — deadline के पास common issue है।

Attempt Limit और Previous Appearances
RPSC RAS में attempt limit नहीं है। जब तक age limit में हैं, कितनी भी बार appear कर सकते हैं। यह UPSC (General: 6 attempts) से बड़ा advantage है। Practically, अधिकतर successful RAS candidates 2–3 serious attempts में clear करते हैं।
RAS और RSSB दोनों एक साथ Apply कर सकते हैं?
हाँ — RPSC RAS और RSSB (Rajasthan Staff Selection Board) के exams एक साथ दे सकते हैं। State government exams simultaneously apply करने पर कोई restriction नहीं है। RSSB के sub-inspector, patwar, teacher recruitment में भी Rajasthan GK test होता है — preparation overlap benefit करती है।
Government Job During RAS Preparation — क्या करें
अगर आप currently किसी government job में हैं और RAS देना चाहते हैं:

Category Rules की Detail — किसे क्या Benefit मिलता है
OBC candidates: Rajasthan का OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate चाहिए। अगर family की annual income non-government sources से ₹8 lakh (central creamy layer limit — Rajasthan का अपना limit हो सकता है; notification से verify करें) से ज्यादा है तो आप creamy layer में हैं और General category माने जाएंगे। दूसरे states का OBC certificate Rajasthan state services reservation के लिए apply नहीं होता।
SC/ST candidates: Creamy layer concept नहीं है — सभी SC/ST candidates income regardless full category benefit पाते हैं। Age relaxation (+5 साल), fee concession (₹400), और reserved posts सब apply होता है। Certificate Rajasthan का होना जरूरी है।
EWS candidates: General category candidates जिनकी family income ₹8 lakh/year से कम है और specified assets नहीं हैं। EWS को UR quota में से 10% reservation मिलता है। Certificate validity आमतौर पर 1 साल — ensure करें current हो।
Ex-Servicemen: Rajasthan government के पास ex-servicemen के लिए separate horizontal reservation है। Age relaxation service period + 3 years (standard age limit से ऊपर) — Rajasthan Ex-SM rules के अनुसार verify करें। Ex-SM horizontal reservation में होते हैं — साथ में अपनी category (UR/OBC/SC/ST) में भी।
Apply के बाद Category Change हो सकती है?
Generally नहीं। Application submit होने के बाद category change possible नहीं है। अगर आपने General में apply किया और बाद में OBC certificate valid निकला — switch नहीं होगा। Apply करने से पहले category certificate valid और current होना ensure करें। OBC NCL certificate near expiry है तो application से पहले renew करवाएं।
Women Candidates के लिए Specific Rules
Rajasthan में state government posts में women के लिए horizontal reservation है। आमतौर पर हर category में 30% posts women के लिए reserved होते हैं। General UR quota (~304 posts) में लगभग 91 posts UR women के लिए। OBC (~127 posts) में लगभग 38 posts OBC women के लिए।
अगर reserved post के लिए पर्याप्त women candidates qualify नहीं करते, तो post उसी category के men को जाती है — दूसरी categories को transfer नहीं होती। Official RPSC RAS 2026 notification से exact horizontal reservation percentage verify करें।
Physical Fitness Test है?
अधिकतर RAS posts (SDM, Tehsildar, BDO, revenue service) के लिए कोई physical fitness test नहीं है। Selection entirely written exam और interview पर based है। Police cadre posts (DSP) के लिए height, chest, और eye vision standards apply होते हैं — Rajasthan Police Rules के अनुसार।
Normal office work के लिए medically fit हैं (कोई physical limitation नहीं जो administrative duties prevent करे) तो सभी civil service RAS posts के लिए qualify करते हैं।
Final Year Students — Exact Rule
अगर apply करते समय graduation result declare नहीं हुआ था लेकिन document verification तक हो गया — तो qualify करते हैं। Key condition: documents submit करते समय degree complete होनी चाहिए। University का provisional certificate final degree certificate की जगह accepted होता है। लेकिन अगर exam pass करने के बाद final year fail हो गए — selection cancel हो जाती है।
SSO ID — कैसे बनाएं और Activate करें
RPSC RAS 2026 apply करने के लिए SSO (Single Sign-On) ID जरूरी है। अगर आपके पास SSO ID नहीं है तो:
sso.rajasthan.gov.in पर जाएं। "Register" पर click करें। Bhamashah card (now Jan Aadhaar), Aadhar card, या Facebook/Google से register कर सकते हैं। Rajasthan resident के लिए Jan Aadhaar से registration recommended है — यह fastest verification देता है।
SSO ID activate होने में 24–48 घंटे लग सकते हैं अगर document verification required हो। Application last date के पास यह problem बन सकती है — इसीलिए July 28 तक apply करने की recommendation है।
एक बार SSO ID बन जाए तो login करें और Citizen Services में RPSC section ढूंढें। वहाँ से RPSC RAS 2026 application form access होगा।
Application Form में Common Mistakes — जो Avoid करनी हैं
RPSC application forms में ये mistakes अक्सर होती हैं जो बाद में problem create करती हैं:
Photo upload: Photo background white होना चाहिए। Colored background वाली photos reject होती हैं। Photo fresh होनी चाहिए (3–6 months पुरानी)। File size 20–100 KB — इससे ज्यादा upload नहीं होती।
Signature upload: Signature white paper पर black ink से होना चाहिए। Scanned image। File size 10–50 KB। अगर signature बहुत light है तो scan settings adjust करें।
Name spelling: Application में name exactly वैसे ही enter करें जैसे 10th certificate में है। Difference होने पर document verification में problem होती है।
Date of Birth: 10th certificate के अनुसार fill करें। कोई भी discrepancy बाद में explain करनी पड़ती है और reject भी हो सकता है।
Category: एक बार submit होने के बाद change नहीं होती। Carefully select करें।
Admit Card और Exam Center के बारे में
RPSC RAS Prelims 2026 का admit card exam से approximately 2–3 weeks पहले RPSC website पर download के लिए available होगा — November 2026 में। SSO login से download होगा।
Exam centers typically आपके home district या nearest major city में allocated होते हैं। RPSC आमतौर पर city preference देता है application form में — preferred city fill करें लेकिन guarantee नहीं होती।
Exam day पर admit card + एक photo ID (Aadhar, Driving License, Voter ID) साथ लाएं। Exam center पर 30 minutes पहले पहुँचें। COVID-era rules अब लागू नहीं हैं लेकिन exam hall में phone, smartwatch, या calculator allowed नहीं है।
