About This Recruitment
Central Bank of India has released its Apprentice Recruitment 2026 under the Apprentices Act, 1961, inviting applications for 4,500 posts across branches all over India. This is a 1-year structured on-the-job training programme — not a permanent job — but it gives graduates hands-on banking experience, a monthly stipend of approximately ₹15,000, and a completion certificate that significantly boosts your chances in banking sector hiring. Applications are submitted through the NATS portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme).

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any stream from any recognised university in India.
Age Limit (as on 31/05/2026): Minimum 20 years — Maximum 28 years.

Other Conditions: Candidates must NOT have previously undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, at any establishment.
Stipend During Training
Selected apprentices receive a monthly stipend of approximately ₹15,000 during the 1-year training period. After successful completion, a certificate is issued. This certificate is recognised in banking sector recruitment and gives candidates preference in many bank hiring processes.
