What Makes IAF Agniveer Different

Technical group Agniveers undergo specialized training that gives them skills directly applicable in civilian aviation, telecom, and electronics industries.
Application Requirements
12th pass with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Minimum 50% aggregate in 12th for Group X (Technical), minimum 50% for Group Y (Non-Technical). Age 17.5-21 years. Indian citizenship. The online application is through agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Upload recent photograph, signature, 10th and 12th mark sheets, and Aadhaar card.
What Happens After Application
Phase 1: Online exam at designated centres — Physics, Maths, English, Reasoning. Phase 2: Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test (group discussion and psychological assessment), and Medical Examination. Training at technical training institutes for 6-12 months, then posting to an IAF unit.
